Got some awesome new releases in the shop. The folks at Jim Beam decided to release a special single barrel version of their acclaimed Knob Creek bourbon. Also finally got the long awaited Bulleit Rye, which struck me as remarkably smooth and floral when I tried it, a slight contrast from their more robust release of Bulleit Bourbon. New in:

-Knob Creek Single Barrel 60%(120 proof)
-Bulleit Rye 45%(90 proof)
-Old Potrero Hotaling's 15 year single malt 50%(100 proof)

Master Distiller from Four Roses visits Healthy Spirits!

Had a very special guest visit the shop today, Master Distiller Jim Rutledge of Four Roses. He was definitely a class act all the way, and had such an eager willingness to teach us about his craft, a remarkable historian for the bourbon industry. I'm already a die hard fan of Four Roses bourbon, now I can happily say I'm a believer in the man behind the brand. As an added bonus Jim was kind enough to sign every bottle of Four Roses we have in the store, so for a limited time come and get a bottle signed by the Distiller himself at no extra charge. New Arrivals: Rittenhouse Rye and Healthy Spirits Exclusive Eagle Rare Barrel

Got some great news, two long long, long awaited arrivals. First off we finally got our Healthy Spirits exclusive bottling of Eagle Rare 10yr single barrel. Myself, Rami and Dave, and several happy customers that walked in at the right time, tried many many barrel samples, trying to find just the right one. I personally think this is the best bottling of Eagle Rare I have ever tasted and am proud to have our Healthy Spirits name on it! Here's the barrel we selected:

Also finally got Rittenhouse Rye 100 proof bottled in bond back in stock. This one has been unavailable for the better part of a year, as the rye whiskey shortage and increasing demand for rye whiskey continues. This is just a phenomenal whiskey, and with a price in the mid $20's, there really is nothing like it in the market. This will kick your whiskey cocktails up a couple notches! Cheers

Got some pretty sweet releases today. Willett just put out a 2 year single barrel cask strength unfiltered rye, and let me tell you it is mind blowing. We usually have to wait till April each year for the Family Estate Single Barrel line, but this year they wanted to hit us with one for the holidays, Merry Christmas indeed. Also got a very limited second run on the Van Winkle line and Sazerac Antique line. New in:
