-St George California Reserve Apple Brandy- $59.99

See, a lot of stuff right. The Alexander Murray line absolutely blew me away. Both the 30 year and 40 year Scotches were some of the best I've ever tried. Most 40 year single malts can sell anywhere from $2,000 to $15,000 or more. 30 year Scotches probably start at $500 and can get to $1,500 to $2,000 range really easy. Both the Alexander Murray's are available at a fraction of those prices ($699.99 for the 40 year, $169.99 for the 30 year).

The Kavalan line represents some of the best whiskies coming out of Taiwan. The vinho barrique barrel (re-charred used wine barrels) and sherry barrel were my favorite with incredibly oak driven flavor profiles, with some musty red wine notes on the vinho and some richer toffee and nougat flavors on the sherry.

The two new Signatory single malts further solidified my belief that they're one of the best independent bottlers of single barrel Scotch. The 30 year Coal Ila was practically life changing. The smokiness was perfectly integrated, coming through as notes of dark cocoa powder and hints of espresso, coupled with their signature brininess and minerality. The Glenlivet 16 year is a first fill sherry barrel that you'll never see as a branded release. Sherry being by far the most expense and sought after, this one actually comes in at a reasonable price and has the depth and mouthfeel of Scotches twice its age.

The older Hibiki and Hakushu releases are nothing short of world class, look for the Hibiki 21 year to land in the next week or two. The 21 year won best blended whiskey in the world at the World Whisky Awards 3 out of the last 4 years, that's no small feat, but the 17 year we have currently isn't far off. We also currently have 3 different Willett Family Estate ryes available and are expecting more bourbon and rye to land next week. Lastly we've had a lot of interest and questions about the new St. George Apple Brandy and aged Agricole Rum. We finally got them in this week but are advising customers to grab them while they can, as they are in very limited supply.

That's all I got. Cheers
